1985 Rose Louise Lyman Green, of 212 Larch Street, died in 1985. She was born in 1910 to Stephen and Elizabeth Rosar Lyman. Her husband, William Green, died in 1960. She worked at the Marian Convent, Marywood College, as a licensed practical nurse for 16 years. She is survived by a brother William Lyman, Elmhurst; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Murray and Mrs. Lorraine Brown, both of Scranton. Internment was in Abington Hills Cemetery. |

1918 to 2002 Lorraine Margaret Lyman Brown, formally of the Green Ridge section of Scranton died June 29, 2002. Her husband, Jerome W. Brown died June 27, 1972. She was born in 1918 to Stephen and Elizabeth Rosar Lyman. She worked at Marywood College for 25 years, and was a member of St. Paul's Church, Scranton. She was survived by a daughter, Mericia Mills, Scranton. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard J. Brown, three brothers, Jacob, Robert and William Lyman, and four sisters, Marie Goldsworthy, Gertrude Powell, Rose Green and Helen Murray. Internment was in St. Mary of Mount Carmel Cemetery, Dunmore. |
