New England Society of Northeastern Pennsylvania (NEPA)
The society is for men whose
ancestors were Pilgrim / Puritan settlers of New England. Although 1887
is indicated as the date it was established, the local organization was
originally formed as the New England Society of
Lackawanna. Each publication contains many names of members,
guests, etc. Other cities also had New England Society chapters. The
1843 "New England Society in the City of New York, Report, Constitution
and By-Laws" is available for free download at Archive.org.
